2026 Elections

On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, a special election will take place to fill a to-be-vacated seat in the Florida House of Representatives for District 51.

All filed and qualified candidates will receive an invitation to participate in the BusinessVoice interview process in early March. Candidates will be invited to complete a questionnaire designed to highlight their knowledge of the issues facing the office they are seeking. Once completed, candidate questionnaires will be linked below as PDFs.

Important Dates - 2026 Special Election

• Voter Registration Applications - Last Day to Submit is February 23, 2026
• Vote-By-Mail Request Deadline - March 14, 2026
• Early Voting - March 14-21, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Election Day - March 24, 2026 from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
